I've inherited a collection of beautiful blue-and-white Willow-pattern crockery from my grandmother, whom I never had the chance to meet. Mum tells me that her mother always had fresh flowers on the table, Grandad would regularly bring home posey’s of violets -her favourites.
This colourful floral arrangement is my own playful interpretation of that little piece of family history, except I would want big bright peonies or roses.
